Hi all,
I have received both the hard and soft copies of Exercise Neutrality from the following schools:
1. Cedar Girls' Secondary
2. CHIJ STC
3. Compassvale Secondary
4. Cresent Girls' School
5. Hougang Secondary
6. Nan Chiau High
7. Northbrooks Secondary
8. Raffles Girls' School
9. Raffles Institution
10. Serangoon Secondary
11. Tanjong Katong Girls' School
12. Tanjong Katong Secondary
13. Unity Secondary
14. Group 1 - Belinda Chong, Leong Pei Wen, Khairiyah, Geraldine Ow
For the following schools, I have only the hard copy of the report. Please send the soft copy of the report to soulfreed@gmail.com by 22nd June 2006, 1200hrs:
1. Bendemeer Secondary
2. Singapore Chinese Girls' School
For the following schools, I have extended your deadline as per our discussion prior to the submission. I believe you all are clear of our own deadlines and do submit your reports promtly by then:
1. Fairfield Methodist Secondary
2. Marsiling Secondary
3. St Margaret's Secondary
For this last group, I have NOT received any reports, be it in the form of hard copy or soft copy from you. The following schools are the ones who have yet to submit their Exercise:
1. Guangyang Secondary
2. Hua Yi Secondary
3. Punggol Secondary
4. Regent Secondary
5. Group 2 - Selwyn Sim, Joan Chin, Chang Xian Li, Kagila
This is very disappointing as even if you need an extension of deadline, prior notice must be given to me or Hadi Sir. The submission of this Exericse is your responsibility as an Unit Leader. Prior notice does not mean a couple of hours before the deadline itself, nor does it mean not informing me or Hadi Sir at all. If you have a valid reason for extending your deadline, I would have glady considered it for you. However, not being able to submit on time and not giving ample notice/not giving notice at all is definitely not acceptable as actions of Leaders. One last opportunity will be given for these groups to submit the soft copy of your report to soulfreed@gmail.com by 22nd June 2006, 1200hrs.
After that final deadline, no more reports will be accepted and marked.
Leaders, it is good that all of you are enjoying the post-camp fun with your platoon mates but perhaps it is good to understand that leadership is not all about having fun. It is about learning things in your journey and successfully applying them as you become a leader. Having fun and enjoying your journey as a leader is something that comes along with it and it is not the main focus of your journey as a leader. As our Unit Leaders, I am sure you all will know what to focus on and will then excel greatly as an Unit Leader.
This is only the first step from the end of ULP but sadly, some of you all have already disappointed us. However, the beauty of mistakes is that we all learn from it and move away from it. I do hope that you all have learnt something from this.
All the above-mentioned who needs to submit your reports to me, please do it prompty by the mentioned deadline.
Thank you Leaders!
Regards,
Wei Shan
